HITCH MOUNT FOR NOMAD 1600
This is a hitch from Ebay member Wing84. It totals out around $187, which includes shipping. Delivery is around 2 weeks. The hitch is solidly made and painted the same color as the frame so it looks like it belongs on the bike. Attachment is made by using the 2 bolts the mufflers attach with under the saddlebags on either side of the bike and also with the rear cross member mounting points, (That black bar under the rear fender), which steady the saddlebag cage. You will have to remove the saddlebags to access these two bolts on each side. The dimensions are as follows the ball mount is 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" square and the ball size is the standard 1 7/8" with a 3/4" shank. Maximum weight at the tongue is 45lbs with a maximum 450lb towing capacity.
