Nice kit, comes with what
you see here. You need to figure out where you want to mount the plug. I
do not know if it is intended to mount in the spot shown to the left or
not. Ii very possibly is a pre-measured assembly which is intended to go
there. I made my own fused harness and ran it up to the front of the
bike. I believe it is a 15amp fuse which comes with it. That is the fuse
housing at the end of the cable. |

I wanted
the jack more to the front of the bike, so it ended up here. You will
need a fairly large drill bit to get an adequate sized hole drilled for
the jack to reside in. It will be fast and easy if I ever add another
jack as Powerlet makes a parallel harness adaptor which plugs right in.
I drilled
a hole in the side of the compartment to route the power cable through.
Makes it much easier to remove the middle cowling that way. The plug can
simply be pushed back out the hole. Simple push on connection as well. |
