They are sold everywhere for under $2 each, go buy 2. I found these at Pepboys. They add on several feet of side vision to your mirrors and that just might save your life someday. The downside is that they are small, so the images are really tiny which do not lend themselves to quick glances.

MultiVex Mirror

Take a look at the photo, the front of the red vehicle is seen in operators peripheral vision, while the rear of the same vehicle is still visible in the MultiVex Mirror.  The "Blind Areas are virtually eliminated!"  The chart on the right shows how much more effective the Multivex mirrors are over a standard flat mirror or regular convex mirror.

Here are more reasons why the Multivex is a better product:

YOU convert your side mirrors - without tools.

Virtually eliminate the BLIND AREAS

The most optically advanced vehicle mirror systems ever developed.

Everything you always wanted to see in your mirrors- but couldn't.

Retrofit technology - Lets you instantly convert your mirrors.  User friendly.

Mirror adhesion - guaranteed in all climates.

Easy installation - anyone can do it.

SAFETY - protect life and property.

Tens of thousands of MultiVex Mirrors on North American Highways since 1984.

This is a peel and stick-on mirror system. They are pricey and honestly, the setup at the top of the page yields more side visibility. The MultiVex Mirrors have a rather high degree of distortion to them and they take some getting use to. It is taking me a while to figure out what the true distance to cars behind me is. I am not sure if I will keep them installed at this point. I guess the question is, Are they better than stock? Yes.

As a final footnote, I took these off. At night, the view they provide is too distorted to provide me with a comfortable feeling of distance and position of cars approaching from behind and from the sides.
