GENERATION 2	Have pain in the upper shoulder area or the upper middle back after a 2-3 hour ride? Get risers, trust me.  This Heli Modified Inc., riser block is world class without a doubt. Using suggestions and feedback from many of our customers and dealers we set out to incorporate some of these improvements and added several other updates as well. 1" taller - 2" rearward extension - Improved Angles Retains:  Stock Handlebars, Cables, and Hydraulic Lines
	You can in the picture to the left see how the offset block really moves the handle bars back. The bike is transformed in my opinion to a much more comfortable ride.
	If by chance you are replacing another set of risers and do not have the stock Honda mounting bolts you can go to Lowes and get 4 of the 8mmX1.25X30 bolts to mount the bars back on to the block and 2 of the same bolts type with the non-allen wrench heads. they are around $0.90 each. Follow the instructions carefully, protect your tank with a cover and when you take off the 2 nuts on the under side of the triple tree, be really careful not to drop the washer which will drop into your hand with the removed nut. See the picture to the left for the location of the bottom nuts.
GENERATION 3	GENERATION 3 Yes the Generation 3 are an improvement over the G2 series. They are better on my wrists with the improved outward angle of the handlebars. Also the tops of the fork tubes are once again accessible. The G2 series had them blocked. Install Instructions Info: 2” Taller (50mm) than stock (1” higher than our original design)  2.5” Rear Offset (62mm) closer to the rider (1/2” additional reduction in reach than our original design)  2 ½ degree reduction in handgrip rearward angle. This single update is the most significant in terms of true long distance comfort because it rotates the rider’s wrist into a more natural position. Additional update features: Larger more ridged rubber anti flex bumpers greatly reduce unwanted handlebar movement. Drain holes placed at the bottom of the main mounting bolt counter bores eliminates water from pooling and rusting the hardware. Re-designed shape with contoured cover vastly improves appearance fit and function. Allows easier access to air filter maintenence. Contoured cut channels position control housing wire looms neatly in place and keeps them from being pinched by the fuel tank at full lock positon. IMPROPER INSTALLATION COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. HAVE A QUALIFIED MECHANIC INSTALL YOUR HELI TM BILLET BAR ADAPTER.

The HeliTM Billet Bar Adapter is designed to safely increase your riding comfort, however it is imperative that these instructions be followed to ensure correct installation. CAUTION: Failure to follow these instructions could result in improper installation and create a dangerous control situation. 1.) Remove both left and right control housing wire looms from the strap that attaches them to the outsides of the bars riser beams.
2.) Remove center plastic cover.
3.) Remove the two cap head screws and bolt from each bar. Note the location of the hex head bolt.
4.) Remove the factory bar mount. The top hex head is 12mm and the bottom nut is 14mm. Use an offset 14mm hex wrench to hold the nut and loosen from the top 12mm head. There is a large washer on top of the lower nut. Repeat for the left bolt.
5.) Install the Heli Billet Bar Adapter. It will only fit one way. Move the front wheel so it’s facing straight forward. First remove the billet center cover by removing the two outer cap head screws. Leave the two inner button head cap screws in place. Remember to place the large washer on the bottom before the nut is attached. This requires both hands, one to hold the washer in place and the other to start the nut. Torque both bolts to 14 ft. lbs.
6.) Install the bars onto the adapter. Install the two cap head screws and the bolt through the bar base and into the adapter. Be careful as not to cross thread the bolts. Tighten all three pieces to 12 ft. lbs. It will be necessary to pull up on the cables and hydraulic lines to gain a bit of extra slack. They will naturally settle back into a new position after install is complete and the bars have been rotated several times lock to lock.
7.) Reinstall the center cover, adjust a bit for the best fit and torque the two 6mm cap head screws to 7 ft. lbs.

Double check all controls for tightness. Start machine and in neutral, go lock to lock and make sure the throttle cables move freely and that the RPM’s do not increase.
