I was sitting there staring at my bike and the thought hit me,  wouldn't it be interesting if I could add in a another circuit to make the driving lights flash separate from the run/turn signals. Hey it you going to do parades and escorts, why not. Anyway, this is a really simple mod to pull that off.

This is really actually pretty simple, you are going to tap a $12 automotive flasher into you driving light circuit so that when you turn it on, the lights flash.   Click this link to view the mini video.

To turn the circuit on a toggle switch is employed which is rated at 20 amps if I remember correctly. I bought it at Radio Shack along with the waterproof boot which screws on the switch over the toggle arm. I drilled a hole as you can see in the picture and mounted it next to the Powerlet outlet. The wiring goes out through the inner side wall of the glove box and to the same area as the air horn and the associated relay, wiring and what nots used to fire that system up.     This is the master wiring diagram of current mods....
